Golf Course Communities in Las Vegas and Henderson. Las Vegas is known for its excellent championship golf courses – and for good reason. There are over 50 public, semi-private, and private courses spread out over the Las Vegas Valley, including Henderson; designed to appeal to golfers at all levels.

 

For golfers, there’s nothing better than living on a course you like to play. Preferably with an incredible golf course view. Even those of us who don’t play golf enjoy having a home that backs up to the golf course. It gives the sense of a large, grassy backyard that we don’t have to maintain ourselves.

Anthem located in Henderson, which was developed in 1999, has a well-earned reputation of being one of the most prominent communities in the area. Surrounding the Hale Irwin designed golf course, Anthem homes wind their way through the mountainside, boasting spectacular views of the city and access to state-of-the-art facilities and amenities.

  1. Canyon Gate Country Club:

Small guard gated community located in the western part of the city. Canyon Gate was developed in 1988 and resides on 500 acres of property featuring approximately 500 homes – many of which include stunning views of the 18-hole Ted Robinson designed course.

Lake Las Vegas was developed in 1995 and is located in the southeast, between the Las Vegas Valley and Lake Mead, in Henderson. Lake Las Vegas is a beautiful master-planned community that features two Jack Nicholas designed golf courses – Reflection Bay and the private South Shore Golf Club.

Condominiums, town homes, and custom houses can be found all throughout the community, many of which overlook the 18-hole championship course that hosted several annual PGA events.

Located just north and east of Decatur and Lone Mountain is Los Prados. Los Prados was developed in 1986 and is an excellent choice for people looking for guard-gated, golf course real estate with affordable prices. The community features a family neighborhood and an age restricted section to suit a variety of lifestyles. In addition to the 18-hole public golf course (community-managed), Los Prados has two swimming pools, recreation center, and tennis courts.

MacDonald Highlands is a small exclusive guard gated community in the southeast and was developed in 2002. Community highlights include the 18-hole Dragon Ridge Country Club, walking trails, and parks.

Red Rock real estate is situated among 740-acres and offers two Arnold Palmer designed 18-hole courses. In addition to the two courses, Red Rock features a 44,000 square foot clubhouse.

This guard gated community of custom and semi-custom homes built by Christopher Homes in 1999. The homes surround the Southern Highlands Golf Course and Country Club. It is located in the southern part of the valley just west of I15.

Southern Highlands offers residents a gorgeous 2,300-acre community featuring a Robert Jones designed 18-hole championship course (private) laid out over 230 pristine acres. Southern Highlands’ amenities include over 50 acres of well-maintained community parks for the kids, hiking and biking trails, sports courts, and waterfront dining and shopping. Southern Highlands is divided into two areas; The Villages, featuring single family residences, and The Estates, with custom homes built on large lots of up to 2-acres.

Homes are surrounded by 3 championship golf courses. Stallion Mountain offers family neighborhoods as well as age-restricted sections throughout.

This village is surrounded by the Chimera Golf Club and was designed in 2003 by Ted Robinson Jr.
